DaNCe2U-#mentalhealth

DaNCe2U#mentalhealth focuses on the social injustice of mental health, and connects

with county social services on mental health and leads conversations on available area resources .  Two 20th Century Western theatrical master works of Anna Sokolow and George Balanchine served as the impetus to examine and discuss what is happening in our home state of Ohio and the types of mental health resources available throughout the state.

DaNCe2U#peaceandstrife

DaNCe2U#peaceandstrife focuses on the empowerment of women and examines how dance can be a voice for political change. Performing Steps in the Street – devastation –  homelessness—exile  we engage with Martha Graham’s response to the rise in Fascism and the invitation by Adolf Hitler to bring her company to perform at the 1936 Olympics.
